퇴계선생이 매화, 대나무, 국화, 소나무를 심고 가꾸던 화단이다. 절우는 ‘절개와 의리가 있는 벗’을 말한다.

영문

Jelwoosa

Jeowoosa is a small garden where Yi Hwang (1501-1570) grew four kinds of plants; cherry blossom trees, bamboo, chrysanthemum and pine, all of which were symbolic plants of the Confucian spirits of loyalty and friendship.
