국문
이 전적비는 국군 제1군단 예하 제11사단 및 수도사단이 북한군 제5군단과 치른 설악산 전투를 기념하고 이 전투에서 산화한 영령들을 추모하기 위해 건립한 것이다.
이 전적비는 조각가 최기원이 설계하였으며, 전적비 높이가 3.7m, 용사상의 높이가 3.35m이다.

War Memorial for the Seoraksan Mountain Area
This monument was erected on November 10, 1978, to commemorate the battles fought in the Seoraksan Mountain are during the Korean War (1950-1953) and to memorialize the brave soldiers who lost their lives in battle. The fighting took place between the ROK Army's 11th and Capital Infantry Division and the DPRK Army's 1st and 5th Infantry Corps.
The monument was designed by sculptor Choe Gi-won (1935- ). The statue of the warrior measures 3.35 m and the monument in total measures 3.7 m in height.
