Lyndsey Twining is a PhD student in the Department of Cultural Informatics at the Academy of Korean Studies in Seongnam, South Korea. She is originally from Michigan, U.S.A. and has studied and worked in South Korea since 2013. Her research focuses on analyzing Korean cultural heritages from a digital humanities perspective. In addition to her research, she has experience in translation, editing, and advisory work for high school textbooks, museum exhibitions and cultural events, cultural heritage information panels, online Korean history and culture content, and major Korean studies journals.
