해설문

재실은 능에 제사를 지내기 위하여 지은 부속 건물로, 제수 장만, 제기 보관, 제관의 휴식 등에 사용한다. 평상시에는 능을 지키는 참봉 1인과 수호군 9인이 기거하며 능역 전체를 관리했다. 이 재실은 숙종 25년(1699)에 세웠고, 1932년에 고쳐 지었다.

매년 단종제향을 지낼 때 이곳에서 제물을 준비하고 제기를 비롯한 각종 사용 기구를 보관한다.

Ritual House

A ritual house is a building where food and drink for ritual offerings are prepared, ritual vessels are stored, and ritual officiants are accommodated. A civil official and nine guards who oversaw the maintenance of a royal tomb also regularly resided in a ritual house.

The ritual house of Jangneung Royal Tomb was established in 1699 and repaired in 1932. It is used for veneration rituals honoring King Danjong (1441-1457, r. 1452-1455) and his loyalists, which are held in the fourth lunar month of each year.

재실은 제사에 쓰이는 음식을 장만하고 제기를 보관하며 제관들이 휴식을 취하는 데 사용하는 건물이다. 평상시에는 능을 지키는 참봉 1인과 수호군 9인이 재실에 기거하며 능역 전체를 관리했다.

장릉의 재실은 1699년에 세웠고 1932년에 고쳐 지었다. 이곳에서 매년 음력 4월에 단종(1441-1457, 재위 1452-1455)과 충신들을 기리는 제향을 지낸다.
