Kim Deok-ryeong: Legend of Mudeungsan Mountain

Rich in natural resources, Mudeungsan Mountain is home to a steel production site used during the Japanese invasions of 1592-1598 by the civilian army leader Kim Deok-ryeong to produce weapons. The site, located in Geumgok-dong, is designated as a Gwangju Monument.
