The Sound of Gwangju: Music and Language
Story
- It is important to use all of one's senses to understand a place and culture. In this story, we will explore Gwangju through the sense of sound, by listening to the music and language of the city. The episodes will cover traditional music, namely pansori, popular music from the 1970s, modern music culture in Gwangju, and the Gwangju dialect.
