Jorge Luis Íñiguez completed his studies in Hispanic Language and Literature at the National Autonomous University of México (UNAM), Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. Also has a diploma in Project Direction by Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, and a diploma in Web-Marketing by UTEL University. Additionally, he counts with a Lean Sigma –Bronze Level– certification in Global Change & Process Excellence.

With a professional career of 12 years in the industry of textbooks, he has worked as an Editorial Coordinator for the publishing material of the Student Services Coordination at the Autonomous University of Mexico City (UACM); Chief Editor at Tipos Móviles Agency; Editorial Coordinator of Secondary Education at Oxford University Press and as Editing Coordinator of Basic Education at Pearson Education Mexico, Central-America and the Caribbean.

Furthermore, he has been the author of six History books for third grade students in basic school (Auroch, 2005), and author of complementary resources for the classroom: “History of Mexico. Resources for Educators” (Oxford University Press: Mexico, 2010).

At the present, he works at Pearson Education as a Content & Editorial Senior Manager for the countries of Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia; where he is responsible for the designing of strategies and the educational content development aimed for basic school, mid-high and higher education projects.
