    • Programs Remarks - Students learn the fundamentals of business on a global level. This area of study combines purchasing, sales and marketing, and trade export controls.
    1. Korea-related Courses : BUSI 411 Business in Global Markets
      • Courses Remarks - Introduction to global business practices. A survey of governmental and corporate practices of major economic systems—Japan, Europe, Pacific Rim countries etc.
    2. Korea-related Courses : BUSI 480/ECON 480 Leadership in the Global Context
      • Courses Remarks - This course addresses issues faced by leaders working in settings throughout the globe. Through a cross-cultural organizational behaviour lens, students will examine concepts of leadership and develop an understanding of the important role culture plays in multi-cultural organizational contexts.

Graduate

  1. Program (Korea-related degree offered) : International Business MBA
    • Programs Remarks - The International Business specialization equips students in the art of business leadership from a global perspective. An MBA with an international focus gives students the expertise and confidence to take their business career goals to a global level.
    1. Korea-related Courses : MBA 661: Global Economic Competitiveness
      • Courses Remarks - The course includes the study of the competitiveness of companies in different countries and regions given ever-changing economic conditions and government policies. Topics also include the acceleration of regional economic integration in Europe, North America and Asia and the implication of such for the global economy.
    2. Korea-related Courses : MBA 662: Managing a Global Organization
      • Courses Remarks - The course examines a number of issues particularly critical to the management of international businesses or multinational firms. These topics include an examination of comparative management practices including similarities and differences in cross cultural management styles; a comparison of Pacific Rim, European Union and North American value systems; analysis of best practices and their impact in industries such as automotive, electronics, education, and medical services. 

Travel Study

    • Programs Remarks - The School of Business offers an annual business related study abroad opportunity. Korea was one of destination of the travel studies in 2009.
