The symposium, Pathways to Korean Art History, with the support of the
Department of Art History and the Center for Korean Studies at UCLA was held on Saturday June 3, 2017 at the Harry and Yvonne Lenart Auditorium
in the Fowler Museum of Cultural History at UCLA.
15 presenters played their roles and 11 thematic articles were presented The approximate numbers of participants of the symposium was 100.

This one day symposium, "Pathways to Korean Art History", seeks to bring together UCLA Art History Professor Burglind Jungmann's colleagues and students in honor of her retirement.

Overall, the symposium was very successful with academically provoking
presentations, actively engaging discussions, and warmly sharing hospitality and congeniality.
The symposium brought together the eight junior Korean art historians, who are now expanding the field of Korean art history in their various positions all over the world.<br/>
