The symposium, Pathways to Korean Art History, with the support of the&lt;br /&gt;
Department of Art History and the Center for Korean Studies at UCLA was held on Saturday June 3, 2017 at the Harry and Yvonne Lenart Auditorium&lt;br /&gt;
in the Fowler Museum of Cultural History at UCLA. &lt;br /&gt;
15 presenters played their roles and 11 thematic articles were presented The approximate numbers of participants of the symposium was 100.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This one day symposium, &amp;quot;Pathways to Korean Art History&amp;quot;, seeks to bring together UCLA Art History Professor Burglind Jungmann's colleagues and students in honor of her retirement.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Overall, the symposium was very successful with academically provoking&lt;br /&gt;
presentations, actively engaging discussions, and warmly sharing hospitality and congeniality. &lt;br /&gt;
The symposium brought together the eight junior Korean art historians, who are now expanding the field of Korean art history in their various positions all over the world.&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
