정시에 소렴할 때 노사신·신승선·이극돈 등이 들어와 염하고 백관이 곡림하다
○丁時, 小歛。 盧思愼、愼承善、李克墩、尹孝孫、成俔及承旨金應箕ㆍ姜龜孫入歛, 百官哭臨。 行小歛奠, 百官哭臨。

Noh Sasin, Shin Seungseon, Yi Geukdon, Yun Hyoson[역주 2], Seong Hyeon, and Royal Secretaries (Seungji) Kim Eunggi[역주 3] and Kang Gwison[역주 4] attended the shrouding and the officials wailed in mourning. The shrouding ritual was held, and the officials wailed in mourning. |

- ↑ During this ceremony (서렴 小殮 soryeom, lit. “small mortuary preparation”), the corpse is cleansed with scented boiled water and shrouded with nineteen layers of cloth, regardless of the deceased person's social status. Then, the shrouded body is covered with two blankets which are placed under and above the body. The purpose of this shrouding is to cherish the corpse and alleviate people's disgust towards the corpse (공병석, 『예기 상례의 인문관』, 학고방, 2013, p.131-132).
