The purpose of this petition is as follows:
My master Licentiate Song, who resides in Icheon, purchased fields and rice paddies.
奴子守鳳 其矣上典宅牌子導良 成明文許給爲乎矣 Based upon the carte blanche given to his slave Subong by his master, the deed was issued.
Since this took place in another region far away, the people of these days might make an issue out of it.
Therefore, by attaching the deed and the carte blanche together like this, I appeal to you to issue a sealed certificate in order to testify to this later. I beg you by rubbing my hands ten thousand times.
