爲計故不得已祭位爲在船橋羽字五十八田三卜四束

十斗落只庫果丁洞讚字百十五畓二卜七束五斗落只

庫乙折價錢文二十五兩依數捧上爲遣今年爲

始永永放賣爲去乎本文記兩庫段他田民幷付乙仍

于不得許給而幸日後良中吾矣門人中如有雜

談是去持此文告官卞正事

乾隆二十二年丁丑四月初四日幼學李乃內蕃前明文

Document of Exchange Agreements to Scholar Yi Naebeon on the 4th day of the 4th month of the 22nd year [1682] of Emperor Qianlong’s reign [1735-1796]


右明文爲臥乎事段 吾矣祖先山所乙 移葬於他處爲計

The document mentioned on the right is as follows: Since I planned to move my ancestor’s tombs to another place,


故不得已 祭位爲在船橋羽字五十八田 三卜四束 十斗落只庫果 丁洞讚字 百十五畓 二卜七束 五斗落只庫乙

I had no choice but to sell fields set apart for sacrificial purposes, which consist of 58 fields, producing three loads and four handfuls of grains and are ten durakji of 71st paddy in Seon’gyo, and 115 fields, producing two loads and seven handfuls of grains and are five durakji of 198th paddy in Jeongdong village.


折價錢文二十五兩 依數捧上爲遣 今年爲始永永放賣爲去乎

25 nyang of coin was the price and it was paid. I took the amount and sold the property in perpetuity.


本文記兩庫段 他田民幷付乙仍于不得許給而

[However,] two places in this document are not allowed to sell because they are also another tenant’s property.


幸日後良中吾矣門人中如有雜談是去持此文告官卞正事 *良中: -에게 By any chance, should there be a dispute at a later date among my family, take this document and report to the authorities for justice to this matter.
