Cuckoo: The emperor's spirit of Shu became a grieving bird. Its name is Cuckoo. On spring mountain with full moon it wails "Pulyŏgui(lit. It's not as good as returning,)."

Pheasants: Their feathers have beautiful patterns. Therefore, it is called Flowery Fowl. It crows at the south of mountains. Its sound is "KAK KAK."
