여성 예복 속옷

Definition

조선시대 여성은 속옷으로 상의에는 가슴가리개·속적삼·속저고리·겉저고리를 입었고, 하의로는 다리속곳·속속곳·바지·단속곳을 입었다. 양반가의 부녀자들은 단속곳 위에 비단으로 만든 너른바지를 입어 모양을 더하였으며, 정장 시에는 무지기치마와 대슘치마를 덧입어 부풀렸다. 속옷은 주로 무명으로 만들었으며, 예복용으로는 명주로 만들기도 하였다. 겨울에는 명주·은주·삼팔·산동주·자미사·숙주·호박단 등으로 안에 솜을 넣어 지어 입었고, 봄·가을에는 겨울감에 솜을 빼고 겹으로 지어 입거나, 여름에는 모시와 같이 통풍이 잘 되는 소재를 홑으로 하여 시원하게 만들어 입었다. 속옷의 색은 주로 소색이나 흰색, 옥색, 회색 등을 사용하였다.
