Definition
【1886년(고종 23) ~ 1898년】. 서울성서활판소. 서울 정동에 설립된 최초의 근대식 인쇄소. 파리외방전교회의 리델(Felix-Claire Ridel) 주교가 일본 나가사키에 세웠던 조선성서출판소를 1886년 코스트(Eugene Coste) 신부가 서울 정동으로 이전. 1898년 명동성당이 건립되자 그곳으로 다시 이전.
