【1891~1973】. 경기도 양평 출생. 본관은 함양(咸陽). 호는 근농(勤農). 아버지는 여정현(呂鼎鉉)이고 어머니는 경주 이씨이며, 여운형(呂運亨)의 동생이다. 부인 김창희와의 사이에 여성구(呂聲九)·여명구(呂明九) 두 아들과 여견구(呂絹九)·여정구(呂貞九) 두 딸을 두었다.
