【1908 년】. 텬문략해(天文略解). 미국 북장로회 선교사 윌리엄 베어드(William M. Baird, 1862~1931)의 주도로 번역된 천문학 교재. 미국의 교육가 조엘 도먼 스틸리(Joel Dorman Steele, 1836-1886) 박사가 저술한 영문 원서 Popular Astronomy: Being the New Descriptive Astronomy를 미국 감리교 선교사 린더 필처(Leander William Pilcher, 1848~1893)가 중국에서 번역, 베어드는 한국인 조사와 함께 이 중문본을 중역함. 헐버트 교과서 시리즈.
