==Definition==
향대청은 향청과 집사청을 같이 이르는 말이다. 아래쪽의 집사청은 제사 일을 맡아보는 집사들이 대기하며 몸과 마음을 단정히 하는 곳인데, 조선시대에 여러 채가 있었지만, 현재는 한 채의 건물만 남아있다.
위쪽의 향청은 제사 예물을 보관하는 곳으로 향, 축문, 폐백 등을 보관하는 곳이다. 현재 향청은 종묘 교육홍보관으로 활용하여 종묘제례의 상차림을 재현하여 보여주고 있다.
