==Definition==
종묘 대문의 문간채. 대문의 경우는 담장에 독립적으로 설치하기도 하지만, 대개는 외행랑에 1-2칸을 대문으로 하는 경우가 많다. 중문을 설치하는 경우도 마찬가지로 샛담에 독립적으로 세우기도 하지만, 내행랑이 있는 경우는 내행랑의 1~2칸을 중문으로 사용한다. 이럴 경우 행랑채를 문간채라고 부르기도 한다. 이 경우 바깥의 것을 대문간채, 안쪽의 것을 중문간채라고 부르기도 한다.
