-조선 제1대 국왕 태조의 고조부인 목조(穆祖) 이안사(李安社)를 모신 시조왕릉이다. 함경남도 신흥군에 있다. 태조는 조선을 건국한 뒤 목조를 비롯한 4대조(목조·익조·도조·환조)를 추존했는데, 이에 따라 목조의 무덤도 능으로 추숭하였다. 능호는 1393년 태조가 친히 정한 것이다. 이후 덕릉은 1410년(태종 10)에 목조의 부인 효공왕후(孝恭王后)의 무덤인 안릉(安陵)과 함께 함흥으로 옮겨졌다.
