조선연예장

Definition

1915년 시정 5주년을 기념해 조선총독부가 경복궁에서 개최했던 조선물산공진회 당시 공연장. 건평 120평으로 판자를 두른 마당에 천막을 둘러 설치되었다. 판소리와 궁중악 등 전통공연이 이뤄졌는데 김창환 이동백 등 명창들이 공연으로 문전성시를 이뤘다.
