Definition

‘덕양(德陽)’은 ‘덕이 밝다’라는 뜻이다. ‘양(陽)’은 ‘밝다’, ‘선명하다’,‘드러나다’는 뜻을 갖는데, 동쪽의 밝은 기운을 상징하기도 한다 현판 글씨는 옛 사진을 고증하여 2001년에 제작하였다. ‘德(덕)’자는 속자여서 ‘心(심)’ 위의 ‘一(일)’ 획이 생략되었다. [1] [2]
