1558년(명종13)~1618년(광해군10)
조선 중기 선조(宣祖)~광해군(光海君) 때 활동한 문신. 자는 원유(元裕)이고, 호는 초당(草塘)·초당(草堂)이다, 본관은 능성(綾城)인데, 좌찬성(左贊成)구사맹(具思孟)의 맏아들이고 좌의정(左議政)구인후(具仁垕)의 아버지이다.
