정순왕후-단종

Definition

정순왕후(定順王后,1440-1521) 본관은 여산(礪山). 판돈녕부사 송현수(宋玹壽)의 딸이다.

1453년(단종 1) 성품이 좋다는 평으로 간택되어 다음해 왕비에 책봉되었다.

1455년(세조 1) 세조가 즉위함에 따라 의덕왕대비(懿德王大妃)에 봉하여졌으나, 사육신의 단종복위운동으로 1457년(세조 3) 노산군(魯山君) 부인으로 강등되었다. 1698년(숙종 24) 노산군이 단종으로 복위되자 다시 정순왕후가 되었다. 시호는 의덕단량제경정순왕후(懿德端良齊敬定順王后)이고, 능호는 사릉(思陵)으로 경기도 남양주시 진건읍 사릉리에 있다. [네이버 지식백과] 정순왕후 [定順王后] (한국민족문화대백과, 한국학중앙연구원)
