Definition

포백제(布帛製)의 쓰개를 통칭하여 부르는 명칭으로 원래는 한 장의 헝겊을 머리에 둘러매거나 덮어 쓰는 간단한 쓰개로서, 머리에 쓴 다음에 일정한 형태를 이루며 쉽게 접을 수 있는 특징이 있다. 조선시대의 유건, 복건, 평정건 등은 어느정도 형상을 갖춘 포백제의 쓰개로서 건의 한 유형들이라고 할 수 있다. [1] 친영 반차 참여 인물 중 중금, 별감 등이 자건(紫巾)을 착용하였다.
