Definition
승문원(承文院)은 조선시대 동반 경관직 정3품 아문 관서로 사대교린(事大交隣)에 관한 문서를 관장하고, 이문(吏文)의 교육도 담당하였다. 소속 관직은 판교(判校), 참교(參校), 교감(校勘), 교리(校理), 교검(校檢), 박사(博士), 저작(著作), 정자(正字), 부정자(副正字) 등이다.
