Definition

국가 제사 의례에 사용된 제기(祭器) 중 하나로 술이나 물을 뜰 때 사용하는 국자.[1]
『세종실록오례』 ◎ 용작(龍勺) : 《석전의(釋奠儀)》에 이르기를, "용작(龍勺)은 무게가 1근이요, 작구(勺口)의 직경(直徑) 너비가 2촌 1푼이며, 길이는 2촌 8푼이요, 깊이는 1촌 1푼이며, 자루의 길이는 1척 2촌 9푼이다. 작헌(酌獻)과 관세(盥洗)에 모두 용작(龍勺)으로써 떠낸다."고 하였다. ◎ 龍勺 : 《釋奠儀》云: "龍勺, 重一斤, 勺口徑闊二寸一分, 長二寸八分, 深一寸一分, 柄長一尺二寸九分。 酌獻盥洗, 皆以勺挹之。"[2]
