Definition

근정전은 경복궁의 정전(正殿)이며 그 남쪽 문이 근정문이다. 현판은 경복궁을 중건할 때 신석희(申錫禧, 1808~1873년)가 썼다. 신석희는 주요 관직을 두루 거친 문신이다.
