고종왕비교명

Definition

고종의 왕비를 책봉하는 교명이다. 교명문은 왕비로 결정된 것을 알리는 명령문으로 다섯 가지 색으로 구분한 비단에 세로로 34행의 글을 썼다. 왕비를 책봉하는 의식을 치를 때 왕비는 최고의 예복인 적의(翟衣)를 입고, 무릎을 꿇은 상태에서 왕의 책봉문을 받았다.
