==Definition==
[[홍수주12폭상건|홍수주12폭상건(紅水紬十二幅床巾)]]는 홍색의 고급 명주로 만든 12폭 너비의 상건이다. 수주는 품질이 좋은 비단의 일종으로 수화주(水禾紬)라고 한다. 상건은 상을 덮거나 상다리가 보이지 않도록 두르는 천이다. 탁자를 덮기도 한다. 상건은 천의 재료와 너비에 따라 다양하다. 상건은 원래 상 전체를 덮는 것이었으나, 영조는 낭비를 줄이기 위해 네 면을 두르기만 하도록 하였다.
