I enclose some pages cut from a recent number of "The Truth" referring to alleged misrepresentations as to missionary results in Korea. Dr. Ellinwood has written to you and also to the Mission referring to this article but was unable at the time to forward a copy. I now forward the article itself for your perusal, but I am requested to say by the officers of the Board, that they particularly desire to have any reply sent here so that the Board may have the first reading, and it may then be used with the authority of the Board and its endorsement. The meaning of this request is not that a reply is not wished for, but simply that it may pass through this office as we should be interested in it and should desire to use it to the best advantage. |
