신중엄 (1522~1604)은 조선의 문신의 신도비이다. 신도비는 왕명에 의하여 높은 벼슬한 분의 무덤 앞 동남쪽 길가에 남쪽을 향하여 세운다. 신중엄 (1522~1604)은 조선의 문신으로 일찍 부모를 여의고, 계모에게 효도하고 동생을 잘 돌본 것으로 널리 알려졌다. 수령을 지내면서 백성들을 교화하였고, 임진왜란 때는 부족한 군량미를 개인 재산으로 군량미로 조달하는 등 국란 극복에 노력하였다. 신중엄 신도비는 1.71m의 화강암 대리석으로 이루어졌는데 비 머리는 용머리 형식으로 조각미가 예술적이다.	This is the stele of Sin Jung-eom (1522-1604), a scholar and civil official of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). Sin was orphaned at a very young age, but became known for his filial piety to his stepmother and siblings. He also supplied provisions to Joseon soldiers during the Imjin War (1592-1598). This stele is crowned with an artistically sculpted dragon. The height of the stele is 1.71 m.
